Based on the popularity of the pre-sales, we did decide to go with two different sizes and worked on getting the second size established while we were still at GAOS. The two sizes are based primarily on height:
S/M: sized for people approximately 5'4 to 5'8"; the length of the parka from the shoulder to the bottom of the parka will be 42".
L/XL: sized for people approximately 5'9" and taller; the length of the parka from the shoulder to the bottom of the parka is the same as the one at GAOS which is 44"
The length targeted in our testing was mid-calf for an average 6'0" person (for the L/XL size) and 5'6" (for the S/M size). From this point shorter individuals can expect the parka to run lower from the mid-calf and taller individuals can expect the parka to run higher from the mid-calf. This serves as a good general guide to see where the length will be for each size.
